AGRICULTURE

To promote food security and diversification by assisting staff and caregivers to produce enough quantities of crops for household and cash.

HEALTH AND HYGIENE

To improve household and environmental hygiene and health of the family units.

MICRO –FINANCE

To provide small scale business skills and loans to caregivers so that they are able to support their families.

HOUSING

Adziwa shall be giving houses to orphans and caregivers upon receiving donation of the housing project. And upon being given the house, it shall belong to orphan and caregiver for ever.

BACKGROUND

BACKGROUND OF ADZIWA

Adziwa Community Based organization was initially called Kauma Orphans Support Initiative (KOSI).It was started in 1999 by Capital City Baptist Church (CCBC) based in area 14, Lilongwe. It started as an outreach and was officiated in the year 2000.It has five hundred and twenty children of which three hundred and twenty are orphans and two hundred are biological children (children of the caregivers).Started with 21 families and increased to 100 families.

To train caregivers to have access to new farming methods.
To help caregivers to access to farming land.
To ensure that children are protected from any health abuse.
To provide business training and skills to Adziwa youth so that they become self-reliant.
